August 11–22, 2025: Enrollment window is open!

Families may enroll at any time during these two weeks, on a first-come, first-served basis. Enrollment is limited — we currently have only 10 openings for the preschool program. If you wish to begin your enrollment paperwork immediately, please email us and we will send a digital enrollment packet to you. However, your enrollment cannot be finalized until you and your child attend either an Open House or a Visitation (see details below). Families will receive notification upon successful completion of enrollment. If there are more families who wish to enroll than spaces available, a waitlist will be established by WCS administration based on the date of completed enrollment application and families’ neighborhood residency.

August 13–21: Open Houses and Visitations begin!

There will be formal Open House events during the following days and times:

• August 13, 5–7 p.m. 

• August 15, 5–7 p.m.

Interested families can drop-in at any time during the Open House. You will be given a brief tour of the indoor and outdoor classroom, and have the opportunity to ask questions and meet the teachers. Children may accompany their caregivers during this event, but must stay with them throughout the open house/tour. Families may pick up a hard copy of their enrollment packet during Open House, if desired.

There will be Visitations offered on the following days/times:

• August 19, 10–11 a.m.

• August 19, 1–2 p.m.

• August 21, 10–11 a.m.

• August 21, 1–2 p.m.

These are stay-and-play opportunities primarily for enrolled children, but undecided families may also wish to attend a visitation. Children and their caregivers will come to school to visit with their teachers and play for an hour. Children can explore the features and materials of both the indoor and outdoor spaces of the school during this time. We highly recommend attending a visitation. This helps children establish a sense of comfort and familiarity, in order to ease their transition into the first day of school.

August 25 and 26: Orientation for Enrolled Families

Orientation for enrolled families is offered in two sessions: 

• August 25, 6 p.m. 

• August 26, 9 a.m.

This is an adults-only informational session. A representative from each enrolled family is required to attend one of the two orientation sessions. At this time, your child’s teacher will review school policies, the family handbook, and daily procedures, as well as answer any questions you have about preparing for the first day of school and beyond.

Enrollment paperwork may be turned in at this time if you have not done so already. All enrollment paperwork must be received by August 29 for your child to begin on the first day of school. Families may begin the school year late if paperwork is not complete; however, we cannot guarantee spots for late enrollment.
